Ramos targets Wes Brown

Tottenham boss Juande Ramos is believed to be in discussions with Man Utd over the signing of defender Wes Brown. The right-back has fallen out of favour with Alex Ferguson and a move to Spurs now looks on the cards.

Wes Brown is likely to leave Man United either in January or in the summer after rejecting a new contract at the club and Alex Ferguson saying they won't offer him another one.

According to the Daily Star, Juande Ramos is ready to make a £3 million offer for the England international who would help shore up a rocky Tottenham defence.
