Villa want Nedum Onuoha
Aston Villa are considering a move for Man City's young English central defender Nedum Onuoha. At City, Onuoha has established himself as a very strong defender and was rewarded with a new four-year contract recently.
Everton are also believed to be interested in the youngster, but Villa have long been chasing another defender as their search for Gavin Hoyte of Arsenal continues to fail at the first hurdle.
If Olof Mellberg, as expected, joins Juventus, it is believed that Villa will have to fork out in the region of £5 million to land Onuoha.
