Tottenham to move for Lassana Diarra

Tottenham Hotspur are reported to be eyeing a summer deal for former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Lassana Diarra. 

The France international has been tipped to seek a fresh move once his contract expires at Marseille at the end of the season.

Manchester United have been recently associated with a move for the midfield enforcer, but according to French outlet L'Equipe, Spurs are keeping tabs on the player's developments.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is said to be eager to strengthen the squad this summer despite their excellent run in the Premier League this season.

The North London outfit are currently second in the league standings, seven points adrift of toppers Leicester City.
