Potters interested in Niang

Stoke City are set to offer stiff competition to the likes of Leicester City and Borussia Dortmund to land AC Milan forward M'Baye Niang.

The 21-year-old joined the Rossoneri from Caen in 2012, and spent his initial two seasons on loan at Montpellier and Genoa respectively.

Niang suffered a fractured metatarsal before the start of the 2015/16 season, and this hampered his progress during the early stages of the campaign.

According to The Mail, the Potters are well aware of the player's ability with the ball, and are set to rival some of Europe's elite clubs for his signature.

Premier League leaders Leicester City are known to have had a £13m bid rebuffed for the French youngster in January.
