Chelsea plot Abdennour swoop

Chelsea are expected to revive their interest in long-term target Aymen Abdennour. The Tunisian had been on the Blues' radar before he opted to join Valencia from AS Monaco last year.

Abdennour has since then failed to adapt to the Spanish style of play and this has costed him a regular starting role in the first-team.

Tuttomercato says the Blues will reignite their pursuit for the 26-year-old, as they seek to bring in a new centre-back during the summer.

Los Che are said to be willing to offload Abdennour for a fee of around £15m.

Chelsea have had a forgettable season in the Premier League, and currently find themselves placed 10th with 44 points.
