Kasper Schmeichel on Barcelona radar

Barcelona have reportedly earmarked Kasper Schmeichel as the ideal replacement for Marc-Andre Ter Stegen. The Denmark international has been in sublime form for the Foxes this season, and this has caught the eye of several European clubs.

According to The Sun, the Catalan giants are on the look out for a new shot-stopper with Cup specialist Ter Stegen tipped to seek a fresh challenge at the end of the season.

In addition to this, the European champions consider Schmeichel as the perfect fit to takeover the duties next season.

It will be interesting to see whether Schmeichel would think of the move, given the chance to play Champions League football with his current side.

Schmeichel is currently valued at around £15m.
