Liverpool make Brahimi approach
Liverpool are reported to have contacted the representatives of Yacine Brahimi over a potential move to the Premier League. The Porto attacker currently has a £46m buy-out clause in his contract.
The Reds have been long-time admirers of the Algerian international, who has made a name for himself in the Primeira Liga.
Portuguese outlet O Jogo claims that the Merseyside giants have held initial talks with the player's entourage amid speculated interest from the likes of AC Milan and Wolfsburg.
The report adds that the club are undeterred by Porto's hefty valuation given the promise shown by the player in recent seasons.
Brahimi has netted 21 goals in 85 outings for the Dragons following his move from Granada in 2014.
