Georginio Wijnaldum on West Ham radar
West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic is keen on signing Newcastle United attacker Georginio Wijnaldum during the summer transfer window. The Netherlands international has been tipped to leave St.James Park following the club's relegation to the Championship.
A report from Voetbalzone claims that the Dutch winger will seek to pursue a fresh challenge in the English league with interest high among several clubs.
It is added that the Hammers are currently leading the chase for his services, and a bid could be in the offing in the coming weeks.
The East Londoners are also keen on a swoop for fellow Magpies teammate Andros Townsend, who was in top form during the back end of the campaign.
Wijnaldum joined the Magpies from Eredivisie giants PSV Eindhoven last summer.
