N'Golo Kante agrees terms with Chelsea
Leicester City midfielder N'Golo Kante is reportedly nearing a move to Chelsea after he finalised terms over a long-term contract. The Frenchman played a key role in the Foxes setup as they clinched a historic league title last season.
Kante has been tipped to leave the King Power Stadium all summer with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Real Madrid in the running for his signature.
Radio Monte Carlo says the 25-year-old has settled terms over a five-year deal with the Blues, and it remains for the club to complete the necessary formalities ahead of a formal announcement.
Chelsea were initially willing to pay a fee of around £22m for the player, but with Shanghai SIPG lodging a £32m offer, the Blues had to match their Chinese compatriots.
The midfielder appeared in all but one game for the Foxes during their Premier League triumph.
