Hakan Calhanoglu up for sale

Bayer Leverkusen are willing to listen to offers for Turkey international Hakan Calhanoglu. The 22-year-old was previously a transfer target for Arsenal and Manchester United.

Calhanoglu joined Bayer from Hamburger SV two years ago, and has since been a regular in the starting line-up.

But, his progress over the past year seems to have stalled, and this has urged the German side to cash in on his services.

The Turk's play is often compared to Arsenal star Mesut Ozil whilst his free-kick prowess has captured the eye of top European sides.

Calhanoglu has netted 21 goals and 20 assists in 93 outings for the German side.

Bayer will accept bids in excess of £20m for their asset this summer.
