Mathieu Debuchy on brink of Galatasaray deal
Galatasaray have settled terms with Arsenal right-back Mathieu Debuchy ahead of a proposed loan agreement. The Frenchman was offered to the Turkish giants earlier this week.
Debuchy, 31, played second fiddle to Hector Bellerin in the first half of last season, and was subsequently shipped to Bordeaux on loan in the winter transfer window.
He appeared in nine games for the French outfit before he suffered a thigh injury which ruled out him out of the European championships.
The likes of Sunderland, Hull City and Bordeaux have expressed interest in the former Newcastle man, but it is Gala, who have sealed a deal for the player.
Gala are expected to sign Debuchy on a temporary basis with an obligation for a permanent switch in 12 months' time.
Debuchy has appeared in just 22 games for Arsenal since his move from Newcastle United in 2014.
