Takuma Asano loaned out to Stuttgart
Arsenal striker Takuma Asano has joined German side Stuttgart on a season-long loan. The Japan international failed to obtain a work permit to play for the Gunners.
The 21-year-old linked up with Arsene Wenger's side earlier this summer after they settled a £3.2m fee with J-League outfit Sanfrecce Hiroshima.
Asano was expected to be loaned out to a lower league club on his Emirates arrival, but the failure to earn a working visa meant that it was inevitable that he would ply his trade overseas.
It is now confirmed that the youngster has sealed a loan agreement with Stuttgart, who are currently in the second tier of German football.
Asano is a full international with Japan having earned five caps till date. He recently featured for his nation's Olympic side netting two goals in three outings.
