Chelsea eyeing part-exchange deal to sign Osimhen
Chelsea are planning to propose a part-exchange deal to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen this summer.
The Blues have had good success with Nicolas Jackson up front this term. He has netted 16 goals across all competitions.
Despite this, they want another marquee striker in their ranks and Osimhen is said to be the priority target for the Blues.
Osimhen currently has a release clause worth €130m in his Napoli deal, but the Serie A outfit could accept around €90m.
The Blues are not in a position to pay such a fee in one payment and they are instead prepared to propose exchange of players.
The west London outfit are ready to include Romelu Lukaku as a makeweight. The Belgian is currently on loan at Roma.
Aside from Lukaku, Mauricio Pochettino's side could also add a young player in the deal to persuade Napoli into selling Osimhen.
Osimhen has his sights on moving to the Premier League. He has previously admitted that he followed Chelsea in his boyhood days.
