Cheick Tiote wanted by West Brom

Ivory Coast midfielder Cheick Tiote will make a move from Newcastle United to join West Bromwich Albion in a deal worth around 5.75 million GBP. Since his arrival at the Toon Army Tiote has featured in over 100 league games and is one of the club's most important players. 

Tiote has two years remaining on his Newcastle United contract and is wanted by numerous Premier League teams, but it is West Bromwich Albion who are in pole position to seal a transfer for the holding midfielder.

Everton are also rumoured to be in the race to sign the player.
