Modric wants Barca move

Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Luka Modric has revealed he is eager to join Barcelona despite interest from Arsenal and Chelsea. The Croatian midfielder is one of the best up and coming talents in the European leagues.

Chelsea were said to be on the verge of landing the youngster, but alleged interest from Barcelona has piqued the 22-year-old's enthusiasm.

"The prospect of playing for Barcelona is an exciting one, and I'll do all I can to ensure that it comes to fruition," he told El Mundo Deportivo.

"Knowing that blaugrana coaches are tracking my progress makes me very proud."
