Carson joins Villa

Aston Villa have secured the services of Liverpool goalkeeper Scott Carson on a season-long loan. The goalkeeper is regarded as one of England's best prospects for the future goalkeeper spot.

Carson was impressive last season with Charlton and was one of the players of the season there. Aston Villa had been interested in signing Liverpool target Itandje, but it looks as if they have decided to sign Scott Carson instead.
