Harry Kane inks new Spurs contract

England international Harry Kane has inked a fresh five-and-a-half year deal with Tottenham Hotspur. The 23-year-old has netted over 25 goals in each of his last seasons for Spurs.
Recent speculation claimed that the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Barcelona were keeping tabs on the player after he stalled on talks over a new contract.
Kane had been seeking a substantial improvement on his £60,000-a-week wages, and this is something which he has managed to agree upon on his contract extension.
"It's amazing. Everyone knows how much I love this team and what I feel for this club," he told the club's official website. "To sign another contract is a special feeling. We've got a great young squad and the club is moving in the right direction."
The striker is expected to earn wages of around £100,000-a-week, which makes him the highest earner at White Hart Lane.
