Leonardo Ulloa Hands in Transfer Request at Leicester City
Leicester City striker Leonardo Ulloa has handed in a transfer request at the club, following a lack of first team opportunities, so far, this season.
Although Ulloa was an integral part of Leicester’s historic title winning squad last season, the Argentine has hardly featured for the club this term, predominantly due to the arrival of Ahmed Musa who has been preferred to Ulloa.
However, the lack of first team opportunities this season, is by no means a reflection of Ulloa’s caliber as a player, rather, it’s just a sign of how different things are for Leicester City this season, as compared to last.
The defending Premier League champions haven’t looked anything like the side that took the footballing world by storm last season, and wrote their name into the history books, in the process. With their title defense all but over already, the Foxes would do well to finish in the top half of the table.
