Teammate: Franck Kessie has been sold

Reported Chelsea and Manchester United target Franck Kessie is said to have already agreed to join AS Roma, teammate Alejandro Gomez claims.

The 20-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the big time with Chelsea, Manchester United, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus all being linked with his services.

However, according to Atalanta's Gomez, the Ivory Coast international has already settled terms with the Giallorossi but the deal won't go through until the summer of 2018.

"I think they've sold him to Roma. But he'll stay with Atalanta for another year," he told Radio Closs Continental.

Kessie was initially expected to join one of Europe's elite in a deal preferably starting next season, but it now appears that Atalanta have finalized an agreement with Roma, who had placed the best offer on the table.

The midfielder was recently part of the Ivory Coast side that were surprisingly ousted during the group stages of the 2017 AFCON.
