Fabinho to snub Arsenal, Man Utd for this club
Monaco star Fabinho will reportedly snub interest from the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal to join Manchester City in the summer, according his father.
The 23-year-old was strongly linked with a switch to Old Trafford last summer before he inked a fresh five-year deal with the Principality outfit.
Since then, the Brazilian has transformed himself into a central midfielder at Monaco with Benjamin Mendy being allotted with the right-back position.
Fabinho's father Joao has now revealed that his son has received offers from Manchester United, Arsenal and Barcelona, but a move to the Etihad remains the preferred option.
"We have been in talks with Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and approached by Barcelona," he told J+1. "We like Manchester United and [Jose] Mourinho's work, but we have a soft spot for Manchester City."
Fabinho has earned 24 appearances for Monaco in Ligue 1 where they remain in pole position to lift a long-awaited title.
