Courtois dismisses Blues exit talk

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has reportedly turned down suggestions that he could join Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.

The Belgian shot-stopper has been fine form for the Blues during the ongoing campaign, and he looks set to lift his second English crown in three seasons.

Speculation over a move to the Bernabeu have intensified with recent months with Courtois deemed to be eyeing a return to Madrid where his family isĀ situated to date.

While speaking to Onda Cero, the 24-year-old was asked on the speculation for which he insisted that he has no plans of leaving Stamford Bridge.

"No, I'm not planning on moving. I'm enjoying the success here and I am focused," he toldĀ Onda Cero.

Courtois had spent three consecutive seasons on loan with Atletico Madrid between 2011 and 2014, and it is in this period he became fond of life in the Spanish capital.

The Belgian is still said to have the ambition of returning to Madrid, but a move could ideally happen in the latter stage of his career.
