Mesut Ozil dismisses Arsenal exit talk?

Ozil 'very happy' at Arsenal

German international Mesut Ozil has insisted that he is content at Arsenal despite the continuous speculation over his future.

The World Cup winner has just over a year remaining on his existing deal, and talks over an extension are likely to be stalled until the end of the campaign.

Ozil was deemed to have had a rift with manager Arsene Wenger after he refused to feature against West Bromwich Albion due to a minor hamstring injury, but this appears not to be an issue with the 28-year-old stating that he is 'very happy' at the Emirates.

"The fact is I've still got a contract in London," he is quoted as saying by DPA. "To speculate now would be wrong. At the end of the season we will see, there will be talks. I'm very happy at Arsenal and in London."

Ozil has netted nine goals and assisted a further seven across all competitions for Arsenal this term despite being a recent absentee through illness and injury.
