Leeds look set to appoint Steve Staunton as their assistant manager.
Staunton, the ex Republic of Ireland manager is going to join up with the Led's backroom staff within the week, joining Gary McAllister who he used to work with at Coventry.
In Staunton's career gained 102 international caps and played for:

1998â2000 Liverpool
2000 â Crystal Palace (loan)
2000â2003 Aston Villa
2003â2005 Coventry City

Now as the possible assistant manager at Leeds he will be hoping that he can help promote them straight back into the Championship.
