Cameroon 3-2 Tunisia: Cameroon are through the semi-final's of the African Nations cup after a thrilling 3-2 win over Tunisia. Tunisia battled away and brought it back to level after going 2-0 down, but Cameroon starlet Mbia was the hero to send them into the semi-finals.

This was the first game in the tournament so far that went onto extra time.

The game started brilliantly for Cameroon who lead by two goals after 30 minutes.

The first goal came after 19 minutes through poor Tunisian defneding. Two of their defenders, and goalkeeper Hamdi Kasraoui, all bumped into each other when failing to clear Alexandre Song's cross which Stephane Mbia nodded into an open net.

The second came 10 minutes later when Geremi guided the ball with precision rather than pace up and over the wall past Hamdi Kasraoui's righ-hand into the corner of the goal.

Tunisia 10 minutes later pulled one back with another fantastically taken free-kick Chaouki Ben Saada wrapped his left foot round the dead ball to whip it into Idriss Carlos Kameni's top corner from 25 yards.

In the second half Cameroon never looked fully comfortable with their lead and were duely punished when great work collectively down the right from Tunisia and the bright-blue-booted Yassine Chikhaoui met an accurate cut-back to lash the ball past Idriss Carlos Kameni from 15 yards.

This forced the game into extra-time for the first time in the tournament.

Cameroon didn't waste any time to restore their lead when a long Geremi throw-in deep in the heart of Tunisia's box. Ball bounced twice, eluding all manner of attempted knock-ons and clearances, and as it dropped, Stephane Mbia produces a laser-like snapshot past Kasraoui to score his hat-trick.

Tunisia did push forward but were unable to penetrate to full effect.

A fantastic advert for African football ended with a Cameroon 3-2 victory.

Cameroon now face a mouth watering clash against the hosts Ghana in the semi final on the 17th of February.
