D'Alessandro to San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo have completed the signing of former Portsmouth midfielder Andres D'Alessandro. The player's move looked in doubt after Real Zaragoza's president Eduardo Bandres revealed a deal could not be struck.
It now seems that Zaragoza have decided to let the midfielder leave on loan for the rest of the season with a view to a permanent deal.
The former River Plate man was the first choice of San Lorenzo coach Ramon Diaz in his attempts to add some creativity to the side for their Copa Libertadores campaign in 2008.
