Arsene Wenger unlikely to change his policy

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will reportedly snub the opportunity of working alongside a sporting director during a meeting with the club's hierarchy on Tuesday.
The Frenchman guided the Gunners to a record 13th FA Cup title - the seventh under his management following an average season which saw them finish fifth in the league.
Wenger has received multiple calls to step down over the course of the season, but he is nevertheless set to discuss a contract extension following the club's FA Cup triumph over Chelsea.
According to The Star, the long-standing manager will want full control of the transfer business in the summer, and he is reluctant to have a sporting director influencing the decision.
Meanwhile, the 67-year-old will seek to keep hold of his backroom staff despite earlier suggestions that they could be a major shakeup in the management structure at the Emirates.
Arsenal will be plying their trade in the Europa League for the first time in their history next term, and they will no doubt want to make a huge impression irrespective of the pedigree of the clubs in the competition.
