Preview: Everton vs Reading
Everton finished 8th and Reading 6th last year, and while Everton have gone from strength to strength, Reading have half as many points and in the relegation zone. A story of great signings? Quite possibly - but one can bet this will be a superb match at Goodison Park on Saturday. One thing is for sure - Yakubu will be missed.
Suspensions and Injuries
Everton welcome back Joseph Yobo from the African Nations Cup but Yakubu will be missing, and Pienaar will certainly miss out. Reading are without Ivar Ingimarsson and Bobby Convey.
Squads
Reading (from): Hahnemann, Federici, Murty, De La Cruz, Rosenior, Sonko, Cisse, Shorey, Oster, Matejovsky, Hunt, Harper, Doyle, Kitson, Lita, Long, Golbourne, Kebe.
Coppell: we can turn it round
"I know it is not easy for the fans. If I had paid money to be on the terraces last week [against] Bolton I wouldn't have been happy.
"It's down to me. I'm the manager. I'm responsible, I pick the team, I pick the way we play. If we are not getting the results then it is my fault 100 percent.
"I still have great faith in my players and what the season has to offer."

Everton 2-1 Reading
A superb game is in the offing here. Reading love to play attacking football on their travels and Steve Coppell will send his men out in search of three points. But Everton should secure them.
