Bayern newcomers score

Bayern Munich were sensational as they hit 4 goals past Werder Bremen in a 4-0 victory over their Bundesliga rivals. Newcomers Franck Ribery and Luca Toni were both on the scoresheet.

Hamit Altintop and Andreas Ottl also both got on the scoresheet in a hotly contested game between the two German giants.

Bundesliga champions VfB Stuttgart are still waiting for their first victory after losing 3-1 to Hertha Berlin in their second game of the season.

Elsewhere, Schalke beat Borussia Dortmund 4-1, Duisburg lost 3-1 to Wolfsburg and Hansa Rostock lost 2-1 at home to Nurnberg.
