Gallas wants quick response

Arsenal captain William Gallas has urged his teammates to recover quickly if they are to continue to mount a Premiership challenge after their 4-0 drubbing by Man Utd on Saturday.

"It’s hard to accept that we conceded four goals,” he told L’Equipe.

“We now have to understand how to play that kind of game.

“When we play away against teams like Manchester United or Tottenham in League Cup, who hadn’t won against us for ages, you have to be ready for the fight.

“We have to reckon we weren’t ready. We have to change our mentality. I don’t know if I am going to speak to the players.

“Everyone has to assume their responsibility and to think of their mistakes.

“The title is a dream. But you have to fight for it. The season is still long. Manchester have earned confidence thanks to that victory.
