Manchester United midfielder attracting AS Monaco interest

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini is reportedly attracting interest from AS Monaco with his existing deal due to expire at the end of the season.

The Belgium international has been playing hardball in negotiations over a new contract with United, and it appears likely that he will leave the club on a Bosman in the summer.

Paris Saint-Germain and Besiktas have been associated the midfielder's interest in the past, but according to The Mail, the Principality outfit could join the pursuit of his signature.

Leonardo Jardim's side are currently going through a transitional period which may see the departure of Fabinho in the summer, and Fellaini has been earmarked as a potential replacement.

Fellaini has struggled with multiple injuries during the course of the current campaign, and this has been limited him to just 18 appearances across all competitions, 13 of which have come off the bench.
