Jenas backs defensive duo
Tottenham midfielder Jermain Jenas has called on Fabio Capello to consider Spurs defensive duo Ledley King and Jonathan Woodgate. The pair were rock solid against Chelsea in the Carling Cup final and Jenas feels the duo should be considered.
"I cannot speak highly enough of how good our two centre-backs are. These two can easily be England regulars," Jenas told The Sun.
"They are both world-class players. Woody has come to a new club but he has fitted in so quickly.
"It has been a long road for Ledders in terms of his injury problem.
"He was very emotional after the game but we all were. He has not played as many games as he would like but it's great to have him back."
