Mauricio Pochettino to become Man Utd's next manager?
Former Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has emerged as one of the candidates to become Manchester United's next manager.
The Argentine mutually parted ways with Chelsea earlier this week. He made the decision to avoid potential disputes during the summer.
Pochettino wanted to bring in experienced players to the Blues, but the club's owners were determined to continue their youth policy.
It is now reported that United have held informal talks with the 52-year-old and he is under consideration for the head coach role.
United have yet to make any decision over Erik ten Hag's future, but it is reported that the Dutchman will be dismissed after the FA Cup final.
The club are preparing a contingency plan. Apart from Pochettino, Kieran McKenna, Thomas Frank and Thomas Tuchel are on the radar.
McKenna would be a favourite choice among the fans, but the final decision will be made by the new management under Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
Ten Hag could stay at United if they end up winning the FA Cup.
