West Ham United to sign Serie A attacker?
West Ham United are reportedly on the verge of securing the signature of Brazilian forward Felipe Anderson from Serie A side Lazio.
The 25-year-old had rarely featured for Lazio during the first half of last season but he managed to become a regular in the final weeks of the domestic campaign.
Despite this, Lazio have placed the Brazilian in the transfer market for the summer transfer window and according to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Hammers are close to acquiring his services.
As per the publication, the east London outfit are due to part with a club-record fee of around £35m for the forward and the deal is also expected to include a 20 per cent sell-on clause.
The Hammers have been pretty active since the start of the summer transfer window and they have so far completed the signings of Ryan Fredericks and Lukasz Fabianski from Fulham and Swansea City respectively.
