Wolves interested in Manchester United centre-back

Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing Manchester United central defender Marcos Rojo, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The newly-promoted Premier League side are reportedly willing to pay £25m for the Argentine international.

United have identified the former Sporting CP player as the man to give way as they continue to look for a new defender.

United have been linked to a variety of defenders but have recently approached Leicester City over the possibility of signing defender Harry Maguire.

United reportedly had a £65m bid rejected during the week, and reports from Daily Star indicate that Leicester want £80m for the World Cup star, a record price for a defender.

After losing Riyad Mahrez to United's rivals Manchester City in a deal worth £60m, Leicester are unwilling to let another star man leave.

The 2016 surprise Premier League champions have been unable to maintain the level of performance that saw them win the title and have been losing quality players since their triumph.
