Alcacer eyes Dortmund stay

Borussia Dortmund's on-loan forward Paco Alcacer has revealed that he would like to extend his spell in Germany. Alcacer is with Dortmund on a temporary basis after his parent club Barcelona allowed him to leave on loan last summer.

Impressive form in the Bundesliga has captured fan attention and Alcacer is fast becoming a favourite at Borussia.

Alcacer admitted yesterday, after a hat-trick against Bundesliga side Augsburg, that he would consider staying with the club on a permanent basis:

“I feel very comfortable in Dortmund. I can also imagine staying at Borussia Dortmund beyond the year. Goals are important to me, but more important is the joy within the team.  Maybe this is the best moment of my career. Goals are not the most important thing, but the ability to help the team.”

The 25-year-old can stay with Dortmund on a permanent basis if the club match Barcelona's 22 million euro asking price that was inserted in the loan deal when Alcacer made the switch to Germany.  Alcacer has two years remaining on his Barcelona contract.
