Arsenal ready to agree £44.5m move for Roma star?
Arsenal are reportedly prepared to sanction a £44.5m move for Cengiz Under after watching the Turk closely in action during Roma's league encounter against Inter Milan last night.
The Turkey international has started the current season in bright form for the Giallorossi and he netted his fourth goal of the campaign during the second half of the recent 2-2 draw against the Nerazzurri.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Gunners are planning to make a bid of around £44.5m for the central attacker and Roma sporting director Monchi would be prepared to accept the move as early as the winter transfer window.
Under, who has previously attracted interest from Manchester United and Barcelona in the past, has made nearly 50 appearances for the Giallorossi since making the move from Istanbul Basaksehir two years ago.
In this period, he has also made himself a regular with the Turkish national team and has contributed four goals from just 10 appearances for his country to date.
