Manchester United ready to agree new deal with Spanish midfielder

Spanish midfielder Ander Herrera has reportedly given the green light to sign a new long-term contract with Manchester United.
Herrera's existing deal at Old Trafford expires at the end of the season and this has recently linked him with a potential return to Athletic Bilbao.
However, according to TalkSPORT, his future has now been sorted out with the United hierarchy and he is prepared to finalise terms over a fresh deal.
The Spaniard had initially turned down discussions with United after they were reluctant to boost on his current £120,000-a-week wages.
But, after discussions with caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, he seems to have made a U-turn and is willing to re-enter talks over the renewal.
Manchester United have made a revival under Ole with five successive wins in all competitions including the recent 2-0 Cup triumph over Reading.
Next up, they are scheduled to face Tottenham Hotspur on the road and the match may make or break their prospects of breaking into the top four.
United are currently six points behind fourth-placed Chelsea after 21 games and they can't afford dropping any more points in the pursuit of Champions League football.
