Inter Milan reject chance to sign Arsenal midfielder
Inter Milan have reportedly snubbed the opportunity to sign midfielder Mesut Ozil from Arsenal when the transfer window reopens in the summer.
Arsenal only penned a fresh long-term deal with the Gunners 12 months ago but his future remains under question after failing to make an impact under Unai Emery.
According to Calciomercato, the Gunners have offered the Nerazzurri with the chance of signing Ozil and they are willing to pay a significant signing-off fee to reduce his wage demands.
However, the Nerazzurri are still not keen on pursuing the former World Cup winner and they are likely to look elsewhere for reinforcements when the season closes.
Ozil was absent from the matchday squad for the recent Premier League trip to Huddersfield Town and following the game, Emery highlighted that the playmaker missed the game through an illness.
Ramsey was likewise not present for the clash against the Terriers after sustaining a minor knee injury in the lead up to the game. The Welshman has been tipped to leave the Gunners when his contract expires this summer.
