Manchester United planning £80m raid for Bundesliga ace?
Manchester United are reportedly considering a big-money move for Jadon Sancho, who has enjoyed a standout season with German giants Borussia Dortmund.
The 18-year-old has made exceptional progress over the past 20 months with the Bundesliga outfit and he has contributed a combined 18 goals and assists in the current season alone.
According to The Independent, the Red Devils have been impressed with the progress of the England international in the Bundesliga and they feel that the attacker's £80m valuation is justified.
However, this may not necessarily enhance their prospects of signing the Englishman, given both Dortmund and the player think that another year would benefit both parties.
Should United pursue Sancho in the future, former club Manchester City are likely to enjoy a significant bonus, given they are entitled to a 15 percent profit on any free exceeding the £8m mark.
Manchester United are currently just outside of the top four positions in the Premier League following a disappointing 2-0 defeat on the road to Arsenal last weekend.
