Manchester United to confirm permanent managerial appointment?
Manchester United are reportedly on the cusp of appointing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as their permanent head coach after impressing with the club on an interim role.
The Norwegian was appointed as the temporary manager back in December following Jose Mourinho's sacking and this has triggered a positive influence with United winning 14 of their next 19 games in all competitions.
According to The Mail, the United board are convinced that Ole is the right man for the job and they are likely to confirm the permanent appointment of the club favourite in the next few days.
United have recently stumbled with back-to-back defeats against Arsenal and Wolverhampton Wanderers, but executive vice-chairman Ed Woodman is satisfied with the club's proceedings under the tutelage of Ole.
Manchester United return to Premier League action this weekend where they are scheduled to face Watford at Old Trafford. They are currently two points behind Arsenal in the race for the final Champions League spot.
