Tottenham Hotspur to raid for World Cup finalist?
Tottenham Hotspur have emerged as surprise canidates to acquire the services of Ivan Perisic, who has been linked with Arsenal and Manchester United in the past.
The north London side have not made a single signing in the past two transfer windows but they are expected to be busy in the transfer market ahead of next term.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Spurs are said to be mulling over an attacking addition during the sumer and they could be prepared to make a £21m bid for Perisic.
However, their offer would still remain below the Nerazzurri's £30m asking price for the Croatian, who could receive fresh interest from arch-rivals Arsenal this summer.
Perisic had been heavily tipped to join the Gunners during the 2019 winter transfer window but a deal did not materialise after the club were only interested in a loan move without the obligation to buy.
Perisic has experienced an average season by his standards with the Nerazzurri. He has contributed just four goals and two assists in 30 appearances in the Serie A and Europe.
