Ander Herrera has reportedly reached a pre-contract with Paris Saint-Germain and will join them on a free transfer from Manchester United in the summer.

The Spain international has been a regular feature for the Red Devils under the guidance of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this year but this has, however, not convinced the club's hierarchy to match his wage requirements.

According to The Record, the midfielder has apparently agreed on a pre-contract package with the French champions after United declined to match his £200,000-a-week demands.

The former Athletic Bilbao star had been in discussions with the board over the past year regarding a new contract but they are said to have been reluctant to offer more than £130,000-a-week for his services.

Herrera, who has two caps with the Spanish national side, has made close to 200 appearances for the Red Devils since joining them from Athletic Bilbao in the summer of 2014.

Alongside Herrera, Juan Mata has also been tipped to leave on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of the season. Barcelona are said to have expressed an interest in signing the former Chelsea man.
