Arsenal interested in signing wantaway Manchester United star?
Arsenal have reportedly made an approach of their own to sign Ander Herrera from Manchester United at the end of the campaign.
The Spaniard has refused to sign a new contract with the Red Devils to date with the club reluctant to offer him a hike on his £130,000-a-week wages.
As such, there has been increased speculation linking him with a Bosman move to Paris Saint-Germain when his contract expires, but according to L'Equipe, the Gunners have made an offer of their own for the midfielder.
The north London side are presently not permitted to agree on a pre-contract with the midfielder unlike Les Parisiens, but they are hoping to convince the 29-year-old decline the overseas interest to pen a deal with the club in the summer.
Herrera has made nearly 200 appearances for Manchester United since making his debut five years ago. He has recently been sidelined with a muscular problem and has missed the previous two games for the club.
