Rashford wants bumper contract extension at United

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is reluctant to commit his future to the club unless they are willing to match his significant wage demands.

The England international has been with the Red Devils for the past three years and during this period, he has transformed into a regular from the starting lineup.

In the current season alone, Rashford has proved his worth with 10 goals across all competitions but it appears that he is in no rush to sort out his future with the club.

According to The Mail, the attacker is said to want a £200,000-a-week contract with the club and that is more than two-and-a-half times of his current salary.

The club have yet to respond regarding the same, but they are firm on their stance that the marksman won't be sold when the transfer window reopens in the summer.

Rashford presently has a contract until the end of next season but United have the option of prolonging his stay for another year by the means of an extension clause.
