Sven praises Ronaldo season

Sven Goran Eriksson has praised Cristiano Ronaldo for his amazing season. The Man Utd winger has helped his club to top of the league again, and the Man City boss has labelled his season as 'amazing'.

"He has had an amazing season; that is the right word. He has always been a very good footballer but seems to get better and better. He has pace and technique he can score goals and is a good header of the ball. I congratulate him on his tally.

"If football experts were picking the best player in the world he would be one big candidate today and he was the difference between United and Bolton in midweek."
