Manchester United to swoop for £40m-rated Ligue 1 striker?
Manchester United are reportedly weighing up a £40m move for Lyon's Moussa Dembele as they seek to strengthen their centre-forward ranks ahead of next season.
The Frenchman made the move to Les Gones from Celtic at the beginning of the campaign and he has since impressed with a tally of 19 goals across all competitions for the Ligue 1 club.
According to The Sun, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen on securing a summer deal for the former Fulham man as he aims to put together a younger and hungrier squad next term.
The potential arrival of Dembele is likely to present doubts regarding the future of Romelu Lukaku, who has been largely inconsistent with his performances through the season.
The Belgian has struggled for form during the recent campaign with just 15 goals and he could be heading through the exit door with Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan said to be interested in signing him.
