Chelsea have reportedly joined the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United in the race to sign David Neres from Ajax during this summer's transfer window.

The Blues are currently restricted from signings any players over the age of 18, but they are hoping at least freezing their two-match transfer ban through the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

According to The Mail, the west London giants are looking into a potential move for Neres this summer after missing out on the services of Luka Jovic, who is on the cusp of joining Real Madrid.

Neres is currently said to be valued at around £40m and the Blues are prepared to match the valuation this summer, provided they are able to delay or overcome their transfer embargo.

Chelsea are hopeful of signing at least one winger during this summer's transfer window with Eden Hazard seemingly on the cusp of joining Real Madrid.

The Belgian is deemed to have already agreed personal terms with the Spanish giants, although the transfer fee is still being negotiated between the sides.
