United agree personal terms with Wan-Bissaka

Manchester United are understood to have agreed contractual terms with Aaron Wan-Bissaka, though they have yet to finalise a transfer fee with Crystal Palace.

The England youth international made his first-team debut for the Eagles at the beginning of the previous year and he has since progressed to become the undisputed choice on the right side of the Eagles backline.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Red Devils are said to have finalised personal terms over a five-year deal with the defender but they are still in discussions regarding the transfer sum.

The Eagles are understood to demand something around £60m for the attacker but so far, United have made a £40m bid which has been swiftly rebuffed by the south London outfit.

United had regularly utilised the services of Ashley Young in the right-back role last term but his gametime is likely to be reduced as he is in the final phase of his professional career.

Diogo Dalot, Axel Tuanzebe and Timothy Fosu-Mensah are potential options to provide back-up but Ole seems eager to pursue Wan-Bissaka, who has the credentials to firm the position for the long-term.
