United ready to sanction De Gea sale

Manchester United are reportedly willing to hand David de Gea with a significant financial payoff in order to encourage his potential move to Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

The Spaniard has just 12 months remaining on his existing deal with the Red Devils and this has left the club with either the option to sell or risk losing him on a free transfer at the end of next season.

Amidst this, Les Parisiens are said to have expressed an interest in signing De Gea and it appears that United are keen on reaching a transfer agreement amid the ongoing contract standoff with the Spaniard.

According to The Sun, United are waiting for a formal enquiry from Les Parisiens for the player's signature where they are likely to demand a transfer fee of around £60m.

The same publication claims that De Gea would be offered around £20m from the sale fee in order to persuade him to leave the club in the current transfer window itself.
