United close to landing Wan-Bissaka

Manchester United are reportedly close to wrapping up the signature of young defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace.

The 21-year-old has been constantly linked with the Red Devils in the past few months and talks have gathered pace between the sides in recent days.

According to Standard Sport, the Red Devils are on the cusp of reaching an agreement with the Eagles for the defender following an extended series of negotiations.

The same publication claims that the Mancunian giants will part with an initial £50m for the right-sided defender and the deal could potentially rise to £60m based on performance-based add-ons.

Wan-Bissaka has been with the England under-21s at the European Championship but he is expected to return shortly after the team failed to progress beyond the group stage.

Instead of going on a vacation, the right-back could straightaway make the trip to United's Carrington Base with the Red Devils keen on sealing his signature at the earliest opportunity.
